No game against derry is easy, but this Bohs team seem to vibe off the atmosphere in dalymount more than those of recent seasons. We came through a tough test in Waterford with our unbeaten record and clean sheets intact, I think we can keep it going tonight. I’m going 2-1 Bohs, Ward and Levingston
Ronny – 2-0
Personally, I have never seen us win against Derry when in the stadium. To be honest I have not even seen us draw against Derry. But 10 points from 4 games, still 0 goals conceded, I think we will keep the momentum going and make Dalymount a fortress and get another 3 points on the board. I am going with a 2:0 win Reghba and Dinny with the goals

I think this will be a hard game for us but I think the unbeaten run will carry on into next week Derry are always a dodgy team to play against and I think they’ll bring it to us as much as we will to them I think Wade-Slater will get the goal for us in the second half

First off, my apologies for predicting a loss Monday night, I should’ve known better! Squad is looking decent now and the confidence should be high going into this one. Waterford are a side still trying to gel and I feel it’s a good chance of another 3 (albeit hard worked) points for Bohs. I’m gonna say 2-1 Bohs, Dinnys going to get at least one of them isn’t he?
Ronny – 0-1
There are no easy games this year and Waterford will be another tough test for the Gypsies. However, I was really impressed how the new guys dealt with the derby atmosphere, they grew into this game and I am sure they will only get better.
Waterford had a lot of changes in the off season similar to Bohs and started alright this year. I think we only got 1 point last year against them, so a bit of a bogey team but if we can keep Hery under wraps I think we can get something out of here. So I’m going with a 0-1 Bohs. Keep the run alive

Bohs have had a fantastic start to the season and I think it’s only right to think it will continue Waterford havent had the best start with already having lost 2 games I think bohs will win 2-0 with Wardy and Dinny scoring.

Been a perfect start to the season for Bohs and I think Friday will be our toughest test yet, Waterford are a strong side we know what Akinade and JJ Lunney can do and they have a solid back line. Should be a good game of football with each side matching each other.

It’s Dublin Derby day and of course, like most Bohs fans, I’m up the walls with nerves and excitement.
Two wins out of two were expected and gratefully achieved. Now is the first big test for our largely new team. The new signings have all looked good, but none of them will have experienced the white hot atmosphere that this fixture brings. Detser, Bucko and Dinny are the experienced heads who will have to guide and inspire our new lads tonight.
Rovers have bought well in the off season and are favourites with the bookies. Like they were last season in each of the four matches and plucky little Bohs won 3 and drew the other.
We have the makings of a really good side and tonight is another chance to show everyone that Bohs are not simply here to make up the numbers.
The fans will play their part roaring on the boys tonight. Strap in folks, the roof is about to come off, enjoy the ride! #BTID

Two games in, two solid performances. I don’t think that we’ve been tested yet though, and this will be a massive ask of our squad. All faith in Keith Long and the lads, I really hope I’m proven wrong but after us ruling the roost over Rovers last season they’ll be gunning for us. I’m gonna go with 3-1 Rovers, Cornwall to get the goal for Bohs from a set piece.

Top of the Table clash for the big one in front of a full house what more do you want. Both teams started great into the season and Rovers definitely would want to beat us after last year and if they want to challenge for the title. Bohs showed some magic down at UCD on Friday and we even rested some players. Our squad depth this year will help us survive the busy period better than last year, however, I don’t have the best feeling for tomorrow and I’d take a draw all day long. Hoping for another fine performance from the lads and predict a 1:1.

Huge game tonight for both teams with both bohs and rovers winning both games leading up to the game so both teams will be going in expecting a win and I think that looking at the past few results in the derby’s Rovers don’t seem to rise to the occasion as much as bohs do and i think it will be a hard game for both teams but Bohs will come out on top in the end

Hopefully we can build on a positive performance last week and pick up another three points giving us confidence going into the derby Monday night. UCD won’t be easy but I do think they’ll play more football than Finn Harps which could possibly leave them more open. Gonna go with 2-0 Bohs, Dinny and Mandroiu to score

So the first 3 points are on the board, and Bohs are now heading across the city to face the Students. I predict another 1:0 win for Bohs. I think with another weeks training under the belt the team will have a bit more understanding between each other. The new boys showed some glimpses of what they can do especially Mandriou last week and we just need to keep playing proper football and we will get that crucial goal and the 3 points.

Bohs had a great start last week against Finn harps beating them and performing very well while UCD lost 3-0 to Derry I think Bohs will kick on and get another win against UCD with both goals in the second half

Delighted to have Bohs back, it’s been way too long and I’m like a child on Christmas morning! This won’t be an easy opening game but it could’ve been much worse. With yesterday’s addition of Aaron Barry I feel a bit more comfortable about a position I felt we were possibly lacking in, buzzing for tonight and I can see Bohs edging a physical contest 2-1, Wade Slater and Dinny with the goals for Bohs.
Ronny – 2-0
It is finally here, the start of the LOI season. Bohs vs newly promoted Harps. I am going for a 2:0 win in front of a hopefully packed Jodi. Friday nights are back. I believe this will be a tough encounter but we will grind out a comfortable win in the end and get this season off to good start with a clean sheet and three points. Goals Dinny and Devaney

I think Bohs will beat Finn harps as I think after going unbeaten in pre season the confidence is high and the squad is looking good. I think we’ll be slow building up and we’ll score late into the first half and build on that in the second half I think it will be hard for Finn harps as they’re only promoted and not having nearly as many pre season games together they won’t be able to handle it

It’s a tough game to call. On one hand you’ve East Fife in decent form well into their season and on the other you have Bohs, who haven’t even kicked off our season yet.
It will be very interesting to see how the new signings gel for Bohs, some huge losses in the off season but all faith in Keith and the team as he has proved each year with us we can rebuild.
My prediction for this is a scrappy game but I feel the players Bohs have brought in are of a decent standard so I think we can nick a 1-0 or 2-1 win and set the tone for a good start to 2019.
Ronny – 2-1
I am going with an optimistic 2-1 Bohs. This is one of the hardest games to predict, ever. I don’t know how the Scottish League One compares to the League of Ireland in terms of standard and quality. On top, they are in the middle of their season while this is subsequently a pre-season game for us and I haven’t seen our new team play yet.
I am going for a narrow win, however, as I am hoping for a big crowd at Dalymount that will cheer our boys on and them not taking the Irn Bru Cup too seriously as they have an important game the following week against Ross County C’mon Bohs!!! Mandriou MOTM 🙂

Considering East Fife are unbeaten in 10 games it’s hard to look past them Bohs have a lot of new faces to the team and have lost crucial players from last season like Dan Casey, Dan Kelly, Shane Supple and JJ Lunney. I think it’ll be a slow start for Bohs in terms of getting the players used to each other then we’ll put up a good fight but I think East Fife’s form will get the better of Bohs unfortunately.
Dylan – 1-1 (Bohs win Penalties)
Personally, I know it’s a competitive contest but due to the fact Bohs are still in the middle of pre-season and I don’t think they are ready for a competitive game of football just yet. We should nick an early goal and get tired near the end with Fife scoring late on. With Penalties it’s the luck of the draw but hopefully we get a bit of early season luck and take it in the penalty shootout.
